What type of music will the DJ play ?

This is a very common question asked by people when they call us, the simple answer to this question is what ever you want ! its you're party / event so you can pick all you're own music if you want. Mr DJ and the DJ's who work for Mr DJ have years of experience and a vast collection of music which is updated on a weekly basis. You can be involved in the music selection process as much or as little as you want, its up to you. There is a song request form on our web site where you can input you're top 20 must play and top 20 must not play songs, if you prefer you can just email us a list of all you chosen music using the details on our contact page.

Can you play for the full wedding ?

Over the years we have completed many full night weddings, playing from half 9 or ten till 2am with a short break at 11 for the hotel to serve food etc, at this type of event we would play a wide range of music including waltz's, 60's, 70's and 80's along with some up to date chart music. We would discuss the music selection with you prior to the event and you can also send us your requests using our online song request form.

Do you hire Wedding DJ's ?

We have Wedding DJ's for all areas including Wexford, Wicklow, Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford, Kildare and Dublin but if your getting married further a field we also offer a nationwide service at no extra cost for travel, so if you are looking for a Wedding DJ for your upcoming Wedding then look no further as our Wedding DJ's are the best in the business with years of experience under their belt. How long in advance should I book ?

To avoid disappointment you should book you're DJ asap, we have no problem taking booking twelve months in advance

What areas do you cover ?

Mr DJ is based in Gorey Co Wexford and offers a wedding dj service for the following areas, Wexford areas such as Gorey, Enniscorthy, Wexford Town and all surrounding areas such as Ferns, Camolin, Arklow and so on, in terms of other counties we cover the following, Wicklow, Carlow, Killkenny, Waterford, Kildare, Laois, Tipperary and Dublin, if you are getting married further a field that's no problem as we offer a nationwide wedding dj service, for our main area we charge 250 euros for after the band and 500 euros for the full night wedding dj package, for wedding dj services outside our main area we charge 50 euros extra to cover expenses on top of our normal rate, mid week discounts are available for wedding djs.

When do you start playing ?

If we are playing at a wedding, after the band for example, we will arrive with the band set up our equipment and be ready to go when the band finish, there will be no gap in between, if its a 21st party for example we will again arrive early set up our equipment and be playing back round music as the guests arrive
